Frenchman who has worked all his life on trains
Henri worked as a porter and attendant on trains all his life. He served on the Orient Express for several decades until he briefly retired in the 1890s. He moved to Great Britain to live with a family, but quickly grew restless from “’staying still so long.” He got a job working on English trains such as the Liverpool-London line.
Henri was listed among the dead in the great train wreck of 1897, though was actually trapped aboard the Doom Train. Reappearing with the other lost passengers in 1922 he attempted to adapted to the new century. Unfortunately his years caught up with him and he died peacefully in his sleep in Winter of 1922.
